“A Journey From Good To Greatness” and Dulcinea Awards places direct focus on increasing the Latino matriculation rate into higher education by way of an A thru G academic curriculum and role-models, with an emphasis on 21st Century careers. This year 350 underprivileged Latino students within the County of Los Angeles will benefit from motivational speakers, various career workshops, career booths and a university networking venue. ELLAS conference provides an environment inclusive to over 150 Latino professionals supporting ELLAS program platform goals for inspiration, motivation and empowerment, while expanding educational and career paradigms for underprivileged youth.

ELLAS purpose is to coordinate professional workshops, seminars and lectures to further enhance education and goal attainment by bridging a collaborative of educational and professional conduits. Provide a connective mentorship and leadership opportunity that will foster education, cultural awareness, an expanded appreciation of the Arts and community participation.
ELLAS is committed to facilitating Mentorship and Leadership development opportunities to benefit Latina high school students, interested in pursuing higher education, traditional and non-traditional careers.
To inspire and empower Latinas to broaden the perception of what they can pursue and achieve educationally and professionally.

ELLAS was founded in 2003 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, contributions and support are taxed deductible under the federal tax exempt guidelines.
